The Old Professor is the award winning, official newsletter of the Providence Radio Association. Its name reflects both the club’s historic identity and a tradition of learning, experimentation, and sharing knowledge that dates to the PRA’s founding in 1919. Published quarterly, The Old Professor features club news, technical articles, operating activities, amateur radio history, member projects, and reports from events such as Field Day, Parks on the Air, contests, and special-event operations.
